I can reproduce this in fedora rawhide and opensuse krypton, recording either
fullscreen or window has this problem, rectangular region seems to work.
I though this could be a nvidia problem but it happens on proprietary and free
nvidia drivers and also on a VM

[KScreen] [Bug 466149] On Xorg, Plasma's idea of the monitor configuration differs from xrandr's

2023-05-28 Thread Tupac
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=466149

I still have this problem on Fedora 38 with 5.27.5 (Zawertun copr).
My main monitor in the kde conf is the right (➡️) one but xrandr thinks it's the
left (⬅️) one, so the relevant apps open in the wrong monitor.
Noted this is from a fresh Fedora install so I only had 5.27.4 and 2.27.5 if
that's any relevant.

I notice that if I scale my second monitor to 1.01 (main monitor scale is 1.25)
this stops happening, it still happens with the second monitor scaled at 0.99
tho

(kscreen-doctor output.2.scale.1,01)
