The desktop freezes briefly and then crashes every time this happens. Disconnecting from the VPN does not crash the desktop. This has also happened in the past using normal drives and gpt tables. - Unusual behavior I noticed: Earlier when was was simply changing the partitions on the drive, the Baloo index service crashed. - Custom settings of the application: Delete an exsiting partition table Create a new parition table (either gpt or msdos) Create a ntfs or fat based file system.
