I found another oddity:
- I enabled "Taskbar edit" and adjusted height of Taskabar (by using sliders);
- I placed Kate's window below Taskbar (screesnshot
"kate_window__before.jpeg");
- I increased height of Taskbar by dragging slider down.
When bottom border of Taskabar collides with top border of Kate's window then
Kate's window "notices in previous posts mentioned invisible barrier" and jumps
to left and resizes itself (screenshot "kate_window__after.jpeg").

Bug ID: 363512
   Summary: [dual screen] can't move windows because invisible
barrier in the desktop
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.6.4
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
  Reporter: zmo...@hotmail.com
CC: bhus...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org

I have two monitor setup (see screenshot of config dialog
"dual_screen_config.png"):
 - primary "Laptop screen" with resolution 1920x1080;
 - smaller secondary "VGA-1" with resolution 1366x768;
 - secondary is on left side of primary;
 - these two monitors forms one big desktop.

 I can resize window by dragging right edge of window to right till mouse
cursor reaches invisible wall somewhere in the middle of desktop (see
screenshot "cant_resize.jpg": cursor hits invisible wall).
 If I want to move window to right by dragging caption bar of window then I
also experience mentioned invisible wall: window moves until mouse cursor
reaches certain X coordinate (see screenshots "cant_move_1.jpg" and
"cant_move_2.jpg": cursor hits invisible wall).

 This bug I experienced also in v5.5.5.

Reproducible: Always

[krusader] [Bug 363437] New: Edit field looses focus after closing one of Editor's/Viewer's tab

2016-05-23 Thread Valdas via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363437

Bug ID: 363437
   Summary: Edit field looses focus after closing one of
Editor's/Viewer's tab
   Product: krusader
   Version: 2.4.0-beta3 "Single Step"
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: m...@fork.pl
  Reporter: zmo...@hotmail.com

I can always reproduce this behavior:
 - start Krusader;
 - navigate in to folder with some files;
 - focus one file and hit F4 (edit);
 - Editor window opens where you can see blinking cursor: editor field has
focus, it reacts to typing;
 - Alt+Tab to to main Krusader's window;
 - focus second file and hit F3 (view);
 - when Viewer opens (in same window as Editor but in second tab) close it by
hitting Esc;
 - main Krusader's window pops in to front;
 - Alt+Tab to Editor's window (where earlier file was opened for editing);
 - now you see focused Editor's window (you can tell from window's header);
this time cursor is not blinking and typing goes to nowhere; you must click
with mouse on to text field or hit Tab to bring focus to text field; if there
is more than one tab opened then you can switch between them using Left and
Right keys.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:
After closing one tab focus jumps to headers of remaining tab/tabs.

Expected Results:
Focus must stay in text field.

I tried to do "motion tracking":
- imported clip;
- applied "Auto Mask" on to clip;
- adjusted rectangle and clicked "Analyse": all went ok (pixelated mask follows
tracking object);
- inserted text clip in to top track;
- selected first clip and "Affine" using mouse and holding "Ctrl";
- pulled menu in effect properties window;
- chose "Import keyframes from clip" -> CRASH

Crash report tool that crash info is not useful.
Tried stable and latest versions.
I examined project file (saved after I do "Analyse" in "Auto mask"), but not
found distinguishable data of motion vectors (I thing there should be some
array).

Attaching project file and crash log.

See attached photo "original.jpg". It is in portrait position.
If I load it in to GW, rotate it counter clockwise, save, close and open it
again then it appears rotated by 180 degrees (file "rotated_ccw.jpg"). And if
I rotate clockwise then result is as no rotation is applied (file
"rotated_cw.jpg").

Reproducible: Always

[frameworks-kservice] [Bug 353203] 20 seconds delay on kde login with kservice 5.14.3

2016-02-01 Thread Valdas via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353203

--- Comment #50 from Valdas  ---
If I remove "--systemd" then after login screen I get graphical window (like
messagebox) with text "Could not sync environment to dbus.", and if click "OK"
then graphics freezes and KDE not loads (but I still can switch in to text
console by Alt+Ctrl+F1).

[frameworks-kservice] [Bug 353203] 20 seconds delay on kde login with kservice 5.14.3

2016-01-30 Thread Valdas via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353203

--- Comment #47 from Valdas  ---
If I comment in "startkde" like this:

# At this point all environment variables are set, let's send it to the DBus
session server to update the activation environment
#if which dbus-update-activation-environment >/dev/null 2>/dev/null ; then
#dbus-update-activation-environment --systemd --all
#else
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/ksyncdbusenv
#fi

then issue remains.

I must mention: during that pause I can "Alt+F2" then type "firefox" with
following Enter and then with "Alt+Tab" I can see started Firefox window in
Application switcher visualization.

[plasmashell] [Bug 358363] New: After system restart often TaskBar resets his position in TwinView

2016-01-22 Thread Valdas via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358363

Bug ID: 358363
   Summary: After system restart often TaskBar resets his position
in TwinView
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.5.3
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Panel
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: zmo...@hotmail.com

I have two displays: smaller on left (secondary; external) and larger on right
(primary; laptop). TaskBar resides in right (primary) display on right side
(see "taskbar__should.png"). After I upgraded Plasma from 5.4 to 5.5 very often
after restart TaskBar self moves to left (secondary) screen (see
"taskbar__bad.png"). Further restart doenst fix "taskbar reset", I must
manually move it.

Reproducible: Always

This bug strikes again in Plasma 5.4.3

Attaching „.xsession-errors“, also screenshots of layout menu and „setxkbmap
-print“ outputs during and after glitch.

I use workaround: right click on layout indicator -> settings -> change
something simple -> undo change -> apply.
