Grabbed latest build 4867ddffea and it's acting weird.
Using MS Edge (chromium) allows me to drag and drop but still gives an error.
Using Tor Browser (Firefox based) allows me to drag and drop BUT it ONLY pastes
an image as new paint layer (doesn't give a prompt) and it does NOT preserve
alpha.

[krita] [Bug 435657] New: (5.0.0 prealpha 4cca3e9600) drag-and-dropping image from web browser doesn't work anymore

2021-04-12 Thread WOAS
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435657

Bug ID: 435657
   Summary: (5.0.0 prealpha 4cca3e9600) drag-and-dropping image
from web browser doesn't work anymore
   Product: krita
Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!)
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Microsoft Windows
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: General
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: korotkih...@mail.ru
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 137530
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=137530&action=edit
reference import error

SUMMARY
Latest stable release (4.4.3) didn't have this problem. I could just
drag-and-drop images from a website using any browser into krita and use them
as reference or paste as new layer AND it would preserve transparency. Prealpha
gives errors now (see attachment). (Different errors actually, depends if I'm
trying to import as new layer or reference image)

Current workaround - Copying and pasting images from internet - doesn't
preserve transparency and just fills transparent pixels with pure black (this
doesn't happen when I paste transparent images into other applications btw)

Sorry for late reply, but can you at least implement a toggle for this feature
in settings? And also disable this feature for "Selection" and "Reference
images" layers, they don't even store frames and the program becomes glitchy if
I try to remove those layers

[krita] [Bug 413807] New: Timeline docker right click is hasty

2019-11-04 Thread WOAS
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413807

Bug ID: 413807
Summary: Timeline docker right click is hasty
   Product: krita
   Version: 4.2.7.1
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Animation
  Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: korotkih...@mail.ru
  Target Milestone: ---

0. Create a new project, open timeline docker
1. right click on the layer's label in timeline docker
2. Now depending on how fast you let go of the mouse, it occasionally creates a
new layer by accident. You either have to hold right click for very long or let
go extremely fast which is annoying (as it is not the case with any other
right-click operation)

SUMMARY:
When I press hotkeys for switching "next" and "previous" layer, timeline
docker's cursor is not moving.
And vice versa - when I click on a frame from another layer, that layer doesn't
activate (brush strokes/transformations etc. only affect active layer and not
the one I clicked)

0. Create a new project, enable timeline docker.
1. Create a new layer
2. Every new layer is visible in the timeline.

I know you can hide layers from timeline but I would like to not have them
instantly visible in timeline. This is especially annoying when layer groups
are shown even though they only clutter the interface. This is also an issue
with reference images which can't even be turned off

[krita] [Bug 412907] New: Suggestion - Mark/create blank frames during playback

It would be very useful for timing in animation. So you 1.Play 2.When certain
cut is needed you press a button like you would with mechanical stopwatch 3.
Done! (compared to usual: 1.Play 2.Stop 3. Awkwardly find the frame at which
you stopped. 4. return to 1.)

4. new layer appears with "visible in timeline" checked.
5. if you uncheck ^ the layer doesn't disappear from timeline
