[kwin] [Bug 458638] New: When using transparency, when moving a window and closing it, the program window does not close
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458638 Bug ID: 458638 Summary: When using transparency, when moving a window and closing it, the program window does not close Product: kwin Version: 5.25.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: compositing Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: demetrykravche...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 151783 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=151783&action=edit Visual description of the bug I'm using the transparency effect when moving windows, which was recently disabled by default in KDE Plasma. I recently noticed that when using it, a bug occurs due to which the program window (any window, be it the main, modal or dialog) does not completely disappear when closed. Instead of completely closing the window, it leaves a transparent plume STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enable transparency effect in System Settings: Workspace Behavior > Desktop Effects, mark the effect "Translucency" 2. Launch any program so that its window appears 3. Grab the window with the mouse cursor to make the window transparent, then close it with Alt + F4 SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.97 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION With the transparency effect turned off, this bug does not appear. This bug also works with windows that can close on their own (like progress bars, the Steam login window, etc) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[filelight] [Bug 458601] New: Black text on dark theme
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=458601 Bug ID: 458601 Summary: Black text on dark theme Product: filelight Version: 22.08.0 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: demetrykravche...@gmail.com CC: martin.sandsm...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 151765 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=151765&action=edit Visual description of the error First of all, I would like to thank you for your work! In KDE Gears 22.08, the look and feel of Filelight has become more convenient and pleasant :) However, I noticed one nuisance: with a dark theme, the pop-up text is drawn in black, and not in white, as it should be. Because of this, the readability of the text is almost completely reduced to "no" STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Apply KDE Plasma dark theme (whether Breeze Dark or third party theme) 2. Launch Filelight and start scanning for free space anywhere on your drive SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.97 Qt Version: 5.15.5 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION No similar bug appears with any light theme. Only in dark theme. There have also been attempts to fix this by deleting the KDE Plasma cache and configs in ~/.config, ~/.cache and ~/.local/share - no result -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
