[okular] [Bug 436388] Printing page ranges doesn't work with "Print to File (PDF)"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436388 --- Comment #6 from Xavier Guillot --- No, as said it's Ubuntu 21.04. The first time I tried, I had another physical printer enabled, and yes in this case I could not select a range in Pages. I removed the printer because I don't have it anymore, and with only the "Print to file" printer, the field is no more unavailable. This field is well enabled in Evince, and we can not only select one, but many ranges like that : 1-2,5-6 which gives a pdf file with the requested pages. But in Okular it doesn't work… -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 436388] Printing page ranges doesn't work with "Print to File (PDF)"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436388 Xavier Guillot changed: What|Removed |Added CC||valeryan...@orange.fr --- Comment #2 from Xavier Guillot --- Hi, I confirm the bug on linux (Ubuntu 21.04) with Okular 20.12.3. But it only occurs when we select a range from the blank window near "Pages" and enter manually a selection (like 3-6). If we use the option just above "Pages from XX to XX" with the 2 small windows and arrows to select the number of pages, it works well and only prints the selected pages - see the screenshot for clear explanation: https://wtf.roflcopter.fr/pics/GzMYcTjq/ibd7DY45.png -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 422626] Allow multiple pages ranges to print in Okular on Windows
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422626 --- Comment #16 from Xavier Guillot --- Yes, I confirm that the bug is still present with Okular 20.12.2 on Windows 10. Thanks for the verification work and separate bug filled for Linux ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 422926] Special character œ in Windows opens a search bar instead of writing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422926 --- Comment #2 from Xavier Guillot --- Hi, thanks for the answer and change suggestion ! But to get the shortcut working and write "œ" (as for accented capital letters), you need to install and choose clavier_fr-oss.zip "Français (France) - Français - Clavier enrichi" for Windows - like French variant available on Linux, but default MS keyboard doesn't have those characters : http://mjulier.free.fr/clavier/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kate] [Bug 422926] New: Special character œ in Windows opens a search bar instead of writing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422926 Bug ID: 422926 Summary: Special character œ in Windows opens a search bar instead of writing Product: kate Version: unspecified Platform: MS Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: valeryan...@orange.fr Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 129318 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=129318=edit Screenshot of search bar opened instead of character written 1. I use the "French, Alternative" keyboard fr-oss both on Linux and Windows 10, which includes some special characters and arrows. 2. Accented capital letters work well on Kate, but if I try to write "œ" (the Alt 0156) with "AltGr + o" on Windows 10, instead of typing the character, it opens above the text a rapid search bar (see screenshot). I use the last Kate version available on Microsoft store. 3. On Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) and Kate 19.12.3, no such problem : "AltGr + o" well writes "œ" Perhaps a shortcut on Windows overlays the character command ? [okular] [Bug 422626] Allow multiple pages ranges to print in Okular
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422626 --- Comment #6 from Xavier Guillot --- Created attachment 129155 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=129155=edit Error message on Windows Hi, I confirm that, on Windows, even with ranges defined with the comma, it asks to enter only one range. And error is also for printing on a physical device, not only on a pdf file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 422626] Allow multiple pages ranges to print in Okular
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422626 --- Comment #4 from Xavier Guillot --- Right, I just tested in on Linux Ubuntu (20.04). If I put "," instead of ";" to separate the ranges, I don't get the error message - I'll check again tomorrow if it's the same on Windows, I think I tried and got the error but I'm not sure. But on Linux, if I try to print on a file, whatever selection I put, even 1 range or one unique page, it always prints the whole document. If I select the option "Current page", it prints only this one. Same with the option "Print from page XX to page XX", it prints only the good range. On Evince, the print on file works well with the chosen ranges, so it's specific to Okular... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 422626] New: Allow multiple pages ranges to print in Okular
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=422626 Bug ID: 422626 Summary: Allow multiple pages ranges to print in Okular Product: okular Version: 1.9.2 Platform: Other OS: Other Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: printing Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org Reporter: valeryan...@orange.fr Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 129136 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=129136=edit Print dialog Hi, Since a long time I wondered why Okular didn't allow to select specific pages ranges to print only a part of a document, in addition to the "From page ... to page ..." In the 1.9 version, I saw the option available, but it only allows one range : if I want for example print pages 1-10;14-15;25;32-45;50-65 from a document, I have to do it as many times as there are different ranges, which is a little constraining. The screenshot provided comes from the 1.9.2 version of Okular on Windows Store. Would it be please possible to add the ability to print specific ranges, as in many other softwares ? It is marked as fixed in Qt but I still have the problem... https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374807 Thanks ! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
