Using the falkon PPA means using a deb, not a snap for falkon, though. Hence, it looks a packaging issue, or a lack of functionality of the snap system, that is still a work in progress, I suppose. If you are on some ubuntu derivative, may I suggest trying the deb from the PPA in place of the snap?
