In order to keep the bug tracker neat and tidy I am going to keep this one as
resolved. Please submit a new bug report or reopen this one should the issue

I've just tested this on the latest Plasma and set the screen to turn off after
1 minute. I used only the touchscreen during this time and it did not turn off.

Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug
report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending
your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved" when you respond,
