I know you will say a categorical "NO" because it must be a giant effort to implement, and I'm not pretty sure it would solve anything of the current issue, but I will tell you anyway, just in case you didn't think about it, and because the interface could solve some other issues like chat grouping or embed videos and preview links and other modern and cool stuff. What about using Telegram desktop UI?
