Problem is not reproducible here, all grouped information available. Did you
restart digiKam after the database migration?

Did you even use the migration dialog under Settings-> Database Migration...?
Or just only changed the database in the settings?

This problem is no longer reproducible, all grouping information is present
after migration to MySQL, I close the bug.
