https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379389 --- Comment #4 from NiO--- (In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #2) > If you can provide the information requested in comment #1, please add it. Sorry again for the delay. I finally tested. Yes it still exists on a fresh install of Neon, and yes it happens on other file managers. I tried Thunar and it was completely unresponsive as I was transferring to my NAS. So.. not dolphin related after all, I suppose -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379389 --- Comment #3 from NiO--- Apologies, forgot to respond the first time. I'll check this out a little later and report back. I just recently did a fresh reinstall of Neon so I'll see if that changes anything. It seems a lot of other issues I had creeping up over time with my old install we're fixed with a clean install so maybe this will be too. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[dolphin] [Bug 379389] Dolphin freezes during large transfers over NFS
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379389 --- Comment #1 from Christoph Feck--- Are other file managers (or console commands) responsive using the same setup? We usually recomment KIO slaves to access remote sites, which cannot freeze the UI, but I am not sure if the access protocol you are using is supported by KIO, afaik we offer http[s], ftp[s], fish/sftp (ssh-based) and webdav. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
