My dolphinrc doesn't have anything under the PreviewSettings [PreviewSettings] Plugins= But it is still not always working for me. I can close and open dolphin again and it will refresh some folders but some still remain with the wrong number of files in subdirectories (i.e. zero instead of having more than zero). For me, even using F5 doesn't always work (in Dolphin). Even after refreshing, some folders do not have a expand caret and also report there are 0 items in the folder.
