You need to file these problems with your distributions. The symbol
installation is handled by bespoke tech for each distribution and is not part
of drkonqi or even maintained by us.

The problem occurs whenever I open either Firefox or Thunderbird for the first
time following a boot up. Once this has happened, it rarely happens again.
