This is not an official version (so it will never be in a distribution which
will use the official 2.0 source without Czech) but I compiled one for you and
your little ones with Czech activated:
https://gcompris.net/download/qt/linux/unofficial/gcompris-qt-2.0-Linux-cs.sh
To run it, follow https://gcompris.net/downloads-en.html#linux.
Have fun with it :).

I already tried to translate some with help of Vít Pelčák, so i might consider
it, even though there is not much time for translating lately.

Thanks for clarification though, even while it's a little unlucky as most
activities my little ones used were already translated.

Marking as resolved and will consider contributing in translation.

[gcompris] [Bug 447143] Missing Czech translation

Hi,

we decided to remove all locales translated below 75/80% on the last versions
to avoid having a half done translation. This is unfortunately the case for
Czech: https://l10n.kde.org/stats/gui/stable-kf5/po/gcompris_qt.po/ which is at
69% for now.

To help, you can contact the KDE Czech team in
https://mail.kde.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kde-i18n-cs.
I just noticed someone asked the same question today:
https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-i18n-cs/2021-December/thread.html.
If there are no answers, feel free to tell us and we'll help you setting up
your environment to translate GCompris (we have a helper page at
https://gcompris.net/wiki/How_to_translate).
