Hello. I just did reproduce a bug and it caused a crash.
All you need is to use a slider on UI with an grayscale image.

Gwenview Version 16.04.3

Kubuntu 16.10
KDE Plasma Version : 5.7.5
KDE Frameworks Version : 5.26.0
Qt Version : 5.6.1
Kernel Version : 4.8.0-22-generic
OS Type: 64-bit

Furthermore it only seems to happen with grayscale (png) images. With rgb png I
cannot reproduce the crash, regardless of mousewheel or slider.

It seems to only happen if I use the slider widget in the bottom left. Control
+ mouse wheel does not crash.
