I can correctly open your project file with Kdenlive 15.12.1.
I really don't recommend using Kdenlive 15.04.x or 15.08.x.
These versions suffer from many regressions due to the porting of Kdenlive to
the KDE frameworks 5 libraries. Please update to 15.12.x if possible.

Thanks for your report. Can you attach the project file here or mail it to me
