Should be fixed with recent git master. Can you please confirm and then close
this bug as RESOLVED FIXED if appropriate?

When you try to load your project: do you see the progress dialog displaying
"loading clips"? Your bug report sound suspiciously like the issue I'm seeing
where loading a project takes forever and eats all available memory. I was
wondering what the cause is as some of my existing projects load without
problems, while others cannot be loaded anymore...
