This should be fixed in 19.04 version.
Dev cannot backport to 18.12 and older versions anymore as 60% of the code has
changed.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.1c to make sure you
have no packaging issues https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/

Visual glitch persisting on Fedora 30 Xfce with 18.12.3

@Akhil had the chance to test Kdenlive Version 18.12.3 on Fedora 30 Xfce and
it's not fixed there. 

See attached screenshot.

I tried this on my Kdenlive (fresh build, refactoring_branch) and it looks like
