[kdenlive] [Bug 488607] Audio clips are not audio-ing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #12 from xk5kig...@mozmail.com --- I appreciate all the comments and desire to try and help on this one. I found out what's causing the audio to disappear. I have Shape Alpha (Mask) so I can make my small thumbnail video have nice rounded corners. If I use that in tandem with Position and Zoom AND have the mask effect above the zoom, audio stops working on the clip. If I put it under the zoom effect, audio now works, but the mask effect is now broken. How should I go about reporting that bug? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #11 from xk5kig...@mozmail.com --- Created attachment 170593 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=170593=edit kdenlive project file Here's the file. I can't share the clip file, as it's over an hour long. If I extract those smalls sections of audio that stopped playing, they work, in kdenlive even! But the second I put them back on the timeline, they laugh at me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #10 from Jean-Baptiste Mardelle --- Hi and sorry for the bad experience. Could you share the .kdenlive project file ? And maybe the problematic source clip ? That would help us debug the issue -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 488607] Audio clips are not audio-ing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #6 from Bernd --- (In reply to xk5kiga8n from comment #4) > So I decided, that's fine, I'll just get the RPM version. Surely, it will > work better, being packaged for Fedora specifically. Sorry to hear that. I came across several posts in other forums about Fedora being very finicky. In all cases Kdenlive caused many issues in all areas (UI, performance, rendering). Can't remember whether it's possible to run appimages on Fedora, but any package (flatpak, snap, RPM) seems to have issues. I am afraid that there is not a lot of help available for your distro ... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 488607] Audio clips are not audio-ing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #4 from xk5kig...@mozmail.com --- Ok, so I have no idea what happened, but today, kdenlive opens fine, but if I try to move it to a different screen, or modify the window in any way, the bottom quarter of the window is gone, showing the desktop behind it. It also locks up and is unable to be closed without a killall command. So I decided, that's fine, I'll just get the RPM version. Surely, it will work better, being packaged for Fedora specifically. This version has no dark mode, and now over half of my videos are just white screens with audio. The audio sections that were not playing are still not playing. And the video monitor is not playing anything at all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 Bernd changed: What|Removed |Added CC||bern...@yahoo.com --- Comment #3 from Bernd --- (In reply to xk5kiga8n from comment #2) > Another bit of info: If I look at the audio, it shows the track has volume > to it, but nothing is showing in the master. Did you check whether the track is muted (I know, I'm asking the obvious), the project monitor is muted, the render option includes audio (there is a checkmark!), there is no effect on the audio track and/or clip. It would help if you could provide screenshots of the timeline, the effect stack(s), the render settings, etc. Thanks! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdenlive] [Bug 488607] Audio clips are not audio-ing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488607 --- Comment #1 from xk5kig...@mozmail.com --- I rendered just in case it would work after render, and nope. Kdenlive pretends as though the clips is muted, no matter what I try in the GUI. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
