[kio-extras] [Bug 407393] kdeinit5 Signal: Segmentation fault (11)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407393 Robert Junior changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jun...@tyincoming.com --- Comment #12 from Robert Junior --- Git commit aef14f05c994d71db290511ac26864b1073470a6 by Nate Graham. Committed on 02/06/2021 at 21:01. Pushed by ngraham into branch 'master' https://tubidy.diy/. Make results delegate list items a bit taller with bigger icons We generally use the smallMedium (22px) icon size for small-ish-but-not-too-small icons as they have a better visual balance with adjacent text, compared to the small (16px) icon size. 22px icons also generally look better than 16px icons. Moving the results list items to use smallMedium icons offers a better visual balance, and adding a tiny of vertical padding balances out everything a bit more to provide more "breathing room" between the rows https://y2mate.diy/. As a consequence, the maximum number of results visible at once has to decrease a bit, but this is generally not a major problem as the user can simply keep typing to refine their search to find what it is they're looking for https://emp3juice.blog/. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=407393 lveitas...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||lveitas...@gmail.com Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #6 from lveitas...@gmail.com --- I can confirm same issue started ~4 days ago, it shows kdeinit5 crash on login. System: KDE Neon 5.18.5, up to date as of today. Some clues that may come in handy (or not at all) - I had downloaded ~70GBs of videos, ~1.4GB each, and downloaded a lot of themes, fiddled around with them too, recently. Plasma started to act weird by displaying icons on desktop and in dolphin from different icon themes, reverting to breeze "look-and-feel" theme solved it. I don't have any more precise timeline. /.../ #13 0x558e087293ad in launch (argc=4, _name=0x558e0a101078 "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/qt5/plugins/kf5/kio/thumbnail.so", args=, cwd=, envc=0, envs=, reset_env=false, tty=0x0, avoid_loops=false, startup_id_str=0x558e0872be87 "0") at ./src/kdeinit/kinit.cpp:708 /.../ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
