The same problem exists in Ubuntu with the Unity desktop: The KDE protocols
seem not to work properly in this environment. So there is also no working
possibility to export images to a local folder outside the watched albums.

Under OSX (and also Windows), this tool is not available because it use KIO
which is a pain to port due to complexity of runtime. We need to found
alternative to replace KIO by a pure Qt5 solution.

Any progress on this item?  I'm not seeing any option to export selected images
to the local file system  (on v5.2 OSX).   All the Export-related options refer
to online services instead.. all of which would seem harder to implement
than this 'basic' functionality.
