I edited the description to update the bug case. Undo is *not* the trigger for the bug. The bug appears when one plays and suddenly there are no moves left. In that case, one is presented with a choice of a new game, restart, or cancel. One way of keep playing the game is by pressing Cancel and then undoing one or more movements until the game could be won once more. Well, when there are no moves lest, and upon selecting Cancel, the game loses its ability to give hints and pause.
