I looked at it with Libreoffice Calc, but when I didn't see the payee names, I
also opened it in kate, and the information wasn't there even in text view.

It makes sense to omit the Date column when transactions are not shown, as
would always be empty in that case.  Omitting the lead-in "Total" would work,
but I think might confuse people looking at the final report without knowing
that the actual transactions were not included.
