Have not noticed the problem on a recent playthrough, but that might be
hardware dependent.

Seriously!!! After this bug has sat idle for 6 years, kde policy considers 30
days sufficient notice?

I had the same issue, with an even higher percentage of these failures.

After having bought a new mouse device the problem disappeared :-)
