https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388441 --- Comment #4 from Piotr Mierzwinski --- OK. After you explanation I understood this is not the bug. If this feature will be not be implemented then may I know what is planed to be implemented soon? I mean is there any list of features? And yes, please reopen and change as a "wishlist item". Thanks in advance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388441 --- Comment #3 from Kevin Kofler --- I could reopen this and mark it as a wishlist item, but I don't think this feature is going to be implemented any time soon either way. It is not a bug in any case. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388441 Piotr Mierzwinski changed: What|Removed |Added CC||piotr.mierzwin...@gmail.com --- Comment #2 from Piotr Mierzwinski --- It's sad what are you saying. In my opinion missing this function strongly decrease readability of compared documents. Saying documents I mean files contain source code. I suppose you meant the same saying: "Documents are not expected to be syntax-highlighted" or correct me if I'm wrong. Since several years I was hope that this usability will appear some day, but I see that no chance - if you are saying: "Documents are not expected to be syntax-highlighted". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388441 Kevin Kofler changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |INVALID Status|UNCONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from Kevin Kofler --- Documents are not expected to be syntax-highlighted. The only thing that is syntax-highlighted at all in Kompare is the text view of the diff, which uses the highlighting for diffs (i.e., it also does not highlight the syntax of the compared documents). The parts that are all gray are the parts that did not change. They are intentionally grayed out in order to highlight the parts that did change. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
