Also, I can see in the console where konsole is started the following: QDBusConnection: error: could not send signal to service "" path "//home/test/.local/share/konsole/Profile 1.profile" interface "org.kde.kconfig.notify" member "ConfigChanged": Invalid object path: //home/test/.local/share/konsole/Profile 1.profile -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369328 Achim Bohnet changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|INVALID |--- Status|RESOLVED|UNCONFIRMED --- Comment #6 from Achim Bohnet --- I'll reopen the bug: I found a way to reproduce it in todays kde neon dev unstable (updated right now so I assume master a few hours ago) To reproduce: * close konsole and rm ~/.config/share/konsole/* * start konsole + Setting -> Edit current profile -> 'Scrolling' tab * click on e.g. 'hide' => 'Apply' BUG: * 'Profile 1.profile is created in ~/.config/share/konsole/ but scrollbar does not hide. * Everytime you switch between left/right/hide + 'Apply' a new 'Profile N+1.profile' is created but konsole scrollbar does not change (still shown at the right) 'Workaround': * close konsole and start it again * switch again between left/right/hide + 'Apply' in Edit current profile. => Now it works as expected: konsole scrollbar is updated when 'Apply' is clicked. Note: there is new Profile X.desktop created. Instead the last Profile N.desktop is updated with every 'Apply' action. Hope this helps to find the cornercase bug. Press okay -> BUG: nothing happens * open edit current profile again -> BUG scrollbar: right and scrollback: 1000 When I close and open konsole again, scrollbar is hidden and scollback is 3000 >From now on edit current profile works as expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369328 --- Comment #1 from Kurt Hindenburg --- That is very strange. DO you know if it is only the scrollbar option or everything that is ignored? It all works here. Also, how recent is Neon's master checkout? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
