Thanks for reporting back, but one important piece of information is missing:
Which version of KMail comes with Ubuntu 16.04.1? You find KMail's version via
"Help -> Introduction to KMail".

Bug exists but with the new symptom.
When I move recurrent (weekly) task from one day to another, I see small
corrupted dialog (not resizable), it seems dialog size not calculated
correctly.

Setup:
Kubuntu
Linux 4.4.0-38-generic #57-Ubuntu SMP x86_64 GNU/Linux
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description:  Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
Release: 16.04
Codename:  xenial

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been
unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still
present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version
5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in
about three months.
