Bug ID: 371961 Summary: KOrganizer stops updating CalDav file Product: korganizer Version: 5.2.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: groupware Assignee: korganizer-de...@kde.org Reporter: ma...@hotmail.com Target Milestone: --- If I try to update a birthday item that is put into the calendar by KAddressBook (such as delete the event or change the event color), I get the usual message "You are not the organizer...". If I go ahead and make/allow the change, KOrganizer stops updating its associated CalDav file (Matt_Cal.ics), but oddly enough keeps its events correctly. If I delete the .ics file, all events disappear from calendar (as expected). But if I restore a backup copy (older info) the events show -- but are newer info (not same as backup). This happens with any birthday (not just one) that comes from KAddressBook. Also, if I delete the birthday info from KAddressbook, the event remains in the calendar. The only clue I can offer is that the file: agent_config_akonadi_davgroupware_resource_#_changes.dat looks strange after making the above change. When I first caught on to what was happening, it had grown to be over 1k in length and had a bunch of (seemingly) repeating information in it (directory & file names and such). In order to fix this, I have to delete the calendar/resource and recreate it... and have to delete and recreate the CardDav file/resource (again, some kind of mismatch). So basically I have to start over. But once recreated, restored backup files display and work correctly. This is repeatable for me - at least the three times I've tested it while trying to figure out why my phone calendar would not update (using DavDroid).
