Well, it's also a bit slower for me without mirror mode when the instant
preview mode is activated, but indeed, with mirror mode, it's worse. ^^

Right, looks like there is a bug with instant preview and mirror mode.
Exactly: mirror mode doesn't work real-time with instant preview activated,
mirrored result appears only after complete stroke calculation.
Confirmed.
