You likely will have to reset the wacom configuration.

I have a wacom tablet. Sometimes I had this problem where the sensitivity
sensor wouldn't work and I had to close krita or restart my computer. Now
everytime I get in Krita it will always have the brush as if it's always on
full pressure and even though I tried restarting both the app and my computer
it won't do any good. I've tried other programs and it works perfectly fine.

"choose screen resolution" window

Hi ! I solved my problem ! :D

Here is what I did :
- start krita
- create a new document
- hold down the shift key and press donw your stylus on the canvas

It opens this window :

I had problems with Krita a few months ago, so I had manually set the screen
resolution to solve these problems at that time. But curiously, it is these
values that seem to have caused my current problems. Perhaps because of a
change of version?

Anyway, today I checked the first option (wintab) as shown in the screenshot,
and since then everything works perfectly.

I tried to reset the wacom settings : ineffective.

However, I maybe found a way around the problem. Kind of.
Instead of "extending" my desktop to my tablet, i clone it from my main screen.
It brings the pressure back, but the cursor position is completelly screwed in
the canvas (not in the UI of Krita). If i just move my stylus from left to
right, the cursor follows well on the UI, but while on the canvas it will
accelerate, decelerate, block on the right side and finally hover the right
side of the UI when i reach it with my stylus...
And it's not a good solution either, working on the same screen isn't handy for
me. Plus i'm left handed, so i usually rotate the tablet to be able to use the
buttons and because my cable is on the left side anyway. But with the cloned
screen, i'm forced to use my tablet in a right handed configuration.

Still better than nothing untill someone found the final solution.
I have the feeling that I'll be hard to read, I'm still not comfortable with
english.

I've had it happen as well, but that usually meant I had to reset the wacom
configuration. If you look at the tablet log, you can see that Krita isn't
getting tablet events, probably because the tablet is confused about the
monitor setup.

L0Lock's Tablet log

I have the same problem. And also a canvas freeze until i put my stylus out of
the canvas and back in.
I attached a tablet log.
Here is what i did for it :
- starting krita then debugview
- pressing Ctrl Shift T
- trying to draw on my canvas (not working)
- put my stylus out of the canvas then back on it (it unfreezes the canvas)
- draw with a pressure sensitive brush : but it looks like i'm in full
pressure.

I add that I'm with a Wacom Cintiq 13HD on Windows 10. And i have no pressure
problem if i put Krita on my main screen and use my cintiq like a standard
graphic tablet.

Losing Wacom pressure sensitivity happens to me quite often, too, and has been
there with Krita 2.8, 2.9 and 3.0.

I haven't been able to precisely point out the reason for it, as it happens
really randomly: sometimes after pc waking from sleep with Krita open, or after
Krita just being open while using other software, or sometimes straight away
after Krita is started, but not nearly always in any of these cases.

The driver I use is an old one, from something like 2013. Had to try every
driver version from newest 6.3.11 backwards to 6.3.6 make it work at all in the
first place. Maybe you could try with different driver version? The older
versions are all available on Wacom drivers download page.
