Can you please reset your configuration
(https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration) and try
with the latest beta
(https://krita.org/en/item/first-beta-of-krita-4-3-0-released/) -- we had a fix
for rare problems with placing the cursor recently.
