This problem seems to have emerged sometime since Krita 4.1.5. I've previously been using the Appimage of that version, which did not (and still does not) exhibit this behavior. I switched to the Arch package about a week ago, which is where I noticed this. As a test, I have downloaded the 4.2.8 Appimage.
