Actually the Latte Dock screenshot was taken with Breeze and the KRunner one with Breeze Dark. > Does deleting ~/.cache/plasma* make a difference? No, it didn't :( I noticed the transparent box sometimes doesn't happen to KRunner, not sure why though. But so far since I upgraded to 5.18.0, Latte Dock has got this issue all the time.
