Bug ID: 468968 Summary: Add effect for enlarging mouse pointer when jiggling the mouse Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: unspecified Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: ngomp...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In macOS, there's an accessibility feature where if you rapidly move the mouse pointer (colloquially called "jiggling"), it'll automatically enlarge/magnify the pointer (also overriding any application-centric masking of the cursor too) so you can see where it is. This is useful if you wind up "losing track" of the mouse for some reason. Please consider implementing this in KDE Plasma. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora Linux 38 (KDE Plasma) (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION There's also a GNOME extension that does this: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/3438/jiggle/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
