Both felt very choppy. Animations felt laggy and youtube videos were dropping frames. When I enable show fps effect, it shows I am running around 30 fps instead of 60. I observe the same thing on Fedora & Neon. I am also running an Intel APU, 9th gen i5(9500) to be precise. Tried it and it somewhat does help, thank you. But the performance is still not smooth. That would be grand. :) I just booted it back up, and one thing's for sure, the desktop is now loading with the lid closed, albeit a little slow.
