Moreover, almost everyone wants to activate the application menu with the Super key, they would very likely do this manually, whether you add that option or not. And they still report bugs wrongly. It does not depend on that option. So, adding that option (disabled by default, of course) would certainly affect nothing. That option will be disabled by default. unfortunately I had promised to Martin from KWin team to not automate this because he was afraid that this would create a bunch of bug reports for KWin.
