I cannot reproduce this issue. A lot has changed since 2017, both in Discover,
and Neon. Could you please re-test?

I can confirm. Using neon Developer 5.9.90.
Furthermore, I checked ksysguard and packagekitd is still open after the
message. So this is a discover bug, not a packagekit bug.
