My laptop (on which I saw the bug the first time) now runs KDE neon. I saw the exact same bug when I turned off my machine. So it did not hinder me from doing anything, but it still seems to exist somehow. It says that there are no errors. The cogwheel spins, the cogwheel stops. And then the screen starts flashing with random colour noise and the laptop is unusable.
