https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358108 S. Christian Collinschanged: What|Removed |Added CC||s_chriscoll...@hotmail.com --- Comment #2 from S. Christian Collins --- It is real easy to hit this bug when testing out different application launcher styles. If you have created any favorites, you will lose them after the switch to another launcher, and you won't get them back when returning to your previous launcher style. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358108 Bob Wyachanged: What|Removed |Added CC||bob.mt@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Bob Wya --- Yup. This is not really ideal. Say you have 2 panels (1 / monitor) each with a kickoffdash. Then you might (!!) want to have the favourites linked / synced between. However think again - bzzzt - no!! So basically I've got to manually hack about in the configuration files to fix this issue. 1) Alter: /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.kickoff/contents/config/main.xml to "fix" / change the default global favourites. and / or 2) Add further cruft to my BASH script to fix (which runs pre-startup): ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc which already "fixes" another Plasma 5 bug where panels randomly move when you change screen configuration... Add a hack to sync my favourites between the panels (each with a separate kickoffdash). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
