Bug ID: 442285 Summary: Moving Digital Clock widget in direction of Task Manager causes that Digital Clock disappars Product: plasmashell Version: git-master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Panel Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: piotr.mierzwin...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY I have vertical panel. Digital Clock is placed on very bottom. I wanted to rearrange a bit the widgets on my Panel, so tried to move Digital Clock on top of the panel. In result I was very surprised because Digital Clock just disappeared when mouse cursor was over Task Manager. The same happened when I moved System Tray widget, which was placed also on bottom. Notice that underneath the Panel was nothing, I moved it from left to right edge of screen. This disappearing was very confused. I noticed, that when I want to rearrange widgets on Panel I need to just move Task Manager widget. Only in this case other widgets just jumps on Task Manager. To back to the previous situation I needed to drag and drop lost widgets taking them from Widgets side bar. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set panel as right side 2. Add to the panel (counting from bottom) Digital Clock, System Tray, Task Manager, Application launcher 3. Turn on "Edit Panel" 4. Try to move Digital Clock on top OBSERVED RESULT Digital Clock disappears EXPECTED RESULT Digital Clock should try to jump on Task Manger and don't lost SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: YES (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.80 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Up-to-date Neon/Linux on day 2021/09/10, time 23:32 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
