SUMMARY

when managing files or folders on the plasma desktop, and deleting them, the
desktop makes a duplicate of a folder that you can't interact with, and if you
have a .desktop file that links to trash:/ , with custom or vanilla icons, it
doesn't refresh properly. it only refreshes when changing how the icons are
organized.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. extract or make a folder on the desktop and create files on the desktop
2. send the folder to the trash
3. the desktop makes a duplicate icon of the folder, that you can't interact
with, and if you have the trash as a .desktop icon, it doesn't update the icon
properly.

OBSERVED RESULT
unless you restart plasma or change how icons are arranged, it refreshes to
some degree but the desktop icon for trash.

EXPECTED RESULT
have the desktop refresh instantly when managing files or folders, and have the
.desktop file that links to the trash also reflect the full empty status just
like on dolphin.
