The idea was the ability to use trackers like labels with thunderbird. With thunderbird labels you can quickly select or display mails with multi criteria "keywords". Properties approach , i think, is less useful as you need to open properties panel or add columns for each properties you want to see in operation panel. Each suboperation can have one and only one tracker. So, if the operation is not split, only one tracker can be assigned. I don't understand why have more than one tracker could facilitate the search. Do you know that you can assign all the "properties" you want and search on those properties ?
