All reports seem to be from Plasma 5.24 on X11; is anyone using a newer version
of Plasma and/or on Wayland able to reproduce the issue?

I have same problem.

Kubuntu 22.04.1.
Logitech 3 button bluetooth mouse.
KDE Plasma 5.24.6
KDE Frameworks 5.92.0
Qt 5.15.3
Linux Kernel 5.15.0-48
Graphics X11

Unchecking "Invert Scroll Direction", clicking Apply, Re-checking "Invert
Scroll Direction" fixes it temporarily.
Its worse than it was with the older Kubuntu 20.04. Every day this happens.

I have this problem as well with my Bluetooth mouse at home. However, the same
problem also happens to me at work when I remove and reconnect a USB mouse.

When I open the Mouse settings, it tells me invert scroll is enabled even
though it is not. One work around is to disable, apply, re-enable, apply
again.

A second workaround is this command: xinput set-prop "Microsoft Bluetooth
Mouse" "libinput Natural Scrolling Enabled" 1

Both workarounds are temporary. I have to use one or the other every time my
mouse falls asleep.

Currently I need the Mouse Settings Window open permanently, so I can switch it
OFF and ON again. I do this about 8 TIMES per day. Every time it sleeps.

I have this identical behaviour after upgrading to Kubuntu 22.04, Plasma
5.24.4. KDE Framework 5.92.0
Hardware: Bluetooth Mouse, Lenovo Laptop 530 Yoga
Problem: Invert Scroll setting is lost after Logout or Restart. Scrolling is no
longer inverted.
Workaround: Switch off the setting, click Apply, Switch ON setting again.
Apply. Then it is working.
