Actually I find an even more serious issue right now, even with up to date arch
linux packages.

Choosing the status in ktp-contactlist (online, away, not available, ...) works
for all the statuses EXCEPT offline. When choosing offline, nothing happens and
it stays CONNECTED. Only using the plasma applet I am able to effectively
switch to offline.

This is a serious issue, because people might wrongly believe to be offline,
while they are in fact online.
