since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can
reproduce the issue with a recent software version?

Just bumping this issue.
My contact list does not crash (or at least not every time) but those
reappearing spam requests are super annoying.

Qt: 5.10.0
Distro: Manjaro
