https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481632 --- Comment #2 from Antti Savolainen --- I can agree with those arguments. The "Details" tab is probably the best place for this information. [plasma-nm] [Bug 481632] Indicate network's wi-fi generation/version in Details view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=481632 --- Comment #6 from Antti Savolainen --- After giving it some thought overnight, I came to the conclusion that maybe using a combined string like "Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax)" would be beneficial. For starters there are many, many, many devices that still use and are in production that use the lettering naming scheme. OpenWRT for example, despite being open source, still uses letters to set the wi-fi generation for a radio. Secondly it would allow power user to create the mental connection between the naming schemes by always seeing them next to each other. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I had to go back and forth for about 2 minutes in the demonstrative video to get it to repro and I haven't been able to capture it on video ever since. If you try to pair with an unreachable device, connect that device back to the network and send a pair request back, you might cause the app to freeze. I produced the coredump with SIGQUIT. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Connect a phone and a PC to the same network so that they see each other but don't pair 2. Disconnect the phone from the wifi 3. Attempt to pair with the PC 4. Reconnect the phone to the wifi 5. Attempt to pair the phone OBSERVED RESULT The application might sometimes freeze unrecoverably EXPECTED RESULT No freeze should occur SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 483351] plasma-emojier high memory usage
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=483351 --- Comment #6 from Antti Savolainen --- The window size seems to affect how much memory the application is using. At minimum size it's barely noticeable but at full screen it can hog all of the RAM. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
