[konversation] [Bug 471865] New: Automatically open ircs:// protocol links with its assinged port 6697 and not 6667
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471865 Bug ID: 471865 Summary: Automatically open ircs:// protocol links with its assinged port 6697 and not 6667 Classification: Applications Product: konversation Version: Git Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: protocol Assignee: konversation-de...@kde.org Reporter: antti.s...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Demonstrative video: https://youtu.be/lm2-LBug5LI When trying to open a ircs:// protocol link, Konversation attempts to open it in port 6667. Instead it should be using port 6697 as assigned by IANA. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open any ircs:// protocol link in browser without a specified port 2. Let Konversation open the link OBSERVED RESULT Konversation attempts to use port 6667 to connect to the server EXPECTED RESULT Konversation should use port 6697 when using ircs:// SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 Konversation version: 1.9.23042 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kwin] [Bug 471867] New: Dragging a Firefox window from one screen to another while using Polonium to autotile the windows sometimes crashes kwin_wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=471867 Bug ID: 471867 Summary: Dragging a Firefox window from one screen to another while using Polonium to autotile the windows sometimes crashes kwin_wayland Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: 5.27.6 Platform: Archlinux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: wayland-generic Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: antti.s...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 160042 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=160042&action=edit backtrace SUMMARY I am using Polonium to automatically tile my windows with kwin tiling. After a recent patch it integrated quick tiling into itself. When dragging firefox from one monitor to another, it crashes kwin_wayland completely. No other program does this. I assume this happens because it tries to quicktile the window when dragging it to the edge of a screen. This is also not a 100% repro rate. Some specific layouts need to happen first which I have not figured out. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use polonium to tile windows 2. Get polonium to a certain unknown state 3. Drag a firefox window between two screens OBSERVED RESULT kwin_wayland crashes EXPECTED RESULT No crash SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.6 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.107.0 Qt Version: 5.15.10 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 431902] New: Plasma freezes when editing a desktop file through GUI
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431902 Bug ID: 431902 Summary: Plasma freezes when editing a desktop file through GUI Product: plasmashell Version: 5.20.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: generic-crash Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: antti.s...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY Demonstrative video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXoRi0bhBoM I am trying to edit the display name of an application through the GUI. After pressing OK, Plasma freezes almost completely and gets stuck in the "File already exist" dialogue. The only solution is to restart. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open Application Launcher 2. Select an entry to edit. In my example I used Steam run in wine, so the .desktop file is in the home directory 3. Edit the "Name:" atrribute in the Application tab OBSERVED RESULT The whole Plasma desktop freezes when the "File already exist" dialogue appears EXPECTED RESULT The desktop should not freeze SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431902 --- Comment #3 from Antti Savolainen --- Created attachment 135046 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=135046&action=edit These are the only affected files. So it seems that only .desktop files inside another folder inside ~/.local/share/applications are affected. None of the files in the root folder cause the loop. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
