Re: New KDE.ru website
Congratulations! It looks amazing. This really got me thinking, I should really remake the KDE Romanian site. It's seriously out of date. Ovidiu signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part.

Should we gather +s and -s and count them as a vote? Can we give the sysadmins the ok? *Ovidiu - Florin BOGDAN* GeekAliens.com <http://ovidiu.geekaliens.com> Kubuntu România <http://kubuntu.org> <http://www.google.com/profiles/ovidiu.b13> 2017-01-13 9:40 GMT+02:00 Luca Beltrame <lbeltr...@kde.org>: > Il giorno Thu, 12 Jan 2017 23:09:16 +0100 > Albert Astals Cid <aa...@kde.org> ha scritto: > > > This takes 1 minute to create and adds 0.0003% of work to our > > servers, let's just add it and stop a conversation that is making us > > spend lots of human- hours discussing it. > > I thought there were no problems from a technical perspective. Re: [kde-community] Sprint: Reorganize the wikis
I cannot find how to register to the sprint. The page https://sprints.kde.org/sprint/291[1] has no participate button. If I go to https://sprints.kde.org/sprint/participate[2], this page does not reffer to any sprint in particular, it's a form that does not register anything. IMO this page should not be accessible. It's missing the sprint ID. I've tried adding the sprint ID manually, but then it just redirects me to the sprint page, so I can't register. What should I do?-- *Ovidiu-Florin Bogdan* GeekAliens.com[3] Kubuntu Romania Representative[4] _Kubuntu Council Member_ [1] https://sprints.kde.org/sprint/291 [2] https://sprints.kde.org/sprint/participate [3] http://ovidiu.geekaliens.com [4] http://kubuntu.org signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. ___ kde-community mailing list kde-community@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-community
Re: [kde-community] Hackaton in Timișoara Romania
Hello world I'm returning with some more details and clarifications. The Hackaton will host multiple sections, one of which will be Open Source. Other sections are Gaming, Web development, Mobile development, embedded programming, etc. We already have some interest from the OpenStack community, and I would hope to have more interest from the KDE community. As I've mentioned we are expecting ~500 hackers, for the whole event, not just the Open Source section. The hackers can be students or IT professionals. We are currently looking for sponsors and are in the process of finalizing finalizing the venue negotiation. I am aware that 17-19 october is very soon, but I'm still hoping We will be able to bring someone from KDE over, to give a few talks and mentor the hackers. The entire exact layout of the event has not been yet established, it's still a work in progress. We will have a meeting on Thursday to resolve more things. I'm also hoping for some help on how to organize the KDE part of the Open Source section (presentation, talks, project workflow, etc.) Any feedback or questions are greatly apreciated. [kde-community] Hackaton in Timișoara Romania
Hello world, We are in the works of organizing a Hackaton in Timișoara, Romania. I will be one of the organizers, and since I'm a Linux addict and KDE promoter (and junior developer) and I'll be in charge of organizing the Open Source section of the event and I'd like for KDE to take a big part of the Open Source section. Mostly we are planning to do bug fixing and possibly development of new functions, maybe even help with the KF5 port. The event will take place between 17 and 19 of October. We are looking for someone interested in helping us organize this event, and for one or two people to come and mentor the hackers with the KDE workflow. The plan is to have ~500 hackers to participate including students and experienced developers. Anyone is wellcome. Not just from Romania. The event is still in it's planning stage, so there are still a few things that needs to be sorted out. Any feedback or questions are welcome. I'll be back with more details soon.
