Looks like another IRC web client. It's just as full of scary stuff
like hostnames and nicks as any IRC. What makes you think users of
Telegram/Hangouts/Slack will be comfortable in it?


This is just the sort of stuff that can be solved by working closely 
with the developer. Independent UX designers are also looking into the 
interface. Your mention of nicks is in conflict with this item in the 
requirements list, though:
Anonymity: When using an account, all details (names, e-mail addresses 
...) are optional and hideable, no SIM requirement
