Hello everyone, This is the minutes of the Week 20 KF5 meeting. As usual it has been held on #kde-devel at 4pm Paris time.
Were present: afiestas, agateau, alexmerry, arichardson, PovAddict, Riddell, sebas, shadeslayer, teo and myself. * afiestas has been working on the async powermanagement API (for now disabled during build, need to force the WITH_NEW_SOLID_JOB and WITH_NEW_POWER_ASYNC_API options to get it built); * he'll push backends and request API review; * agateau produced the framework list on api.kde.org with jquery bling included; * he also did fixes to ki18n and kdoctools macros; * he finished the l10n related task (woohoo!); * he's waiting on a couple of review: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/117954/ https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/118114/ ; * arichardson is trying to get the unit tests running on windows; * he also fixed kurifilter-plugins unit tests; * PovAddict has been helping arichardson with the unit tests; * he also fixed a few frameworks using C++11 features MSVC2010 doesn't have; * he notes there's a worrying number of frameworks with no or few tests; * Riddell reports that kubuntu packages are all done and looking nice; * exception is kauth because of polkit-qt; * no networkmanage release as wanted by kdelibs4support; * sebas is working on locale and translation settings with jlayt; * shadeslayer fixed the ssl kcm, and found more issues in the kio ssl: https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/118102/ https://git.reviewboard.kde.org/r/118104/ ; * he also plans to fix the deprecated warnings in kio; * teo fixed some local issues he had with kwalletd5 on demand start; * he's also working on fixes for the kwallet kcm; * he found that KPasswordDialog looks bad on hidpi display; * ervin took credit of other people work at FISL15; * otherwise he did mostly reviews; * alexmerry has been mostly making sure that plugins are versioned for a kf6; * he also moved kurifilter plugins to kio; * and he has a patch for KDEInstallDirs that adds variable names in keeping with GNUInstallDirs. If you got questions, feel free to ask. Regards. -- Kévin Ottens, http://ervin.ipsquad.net KDAB - proud supporter of KDE, http://www.kdab.com
